Automation

Connect a job to another service with a custom JSON request.

Job Webhooks

Send a job result to another service when you need a notification or want to add extracted information to a tool outside Querygen. Create the destination in Settings > Integrations, then choose it from the job’s Webhook action.

Set Up a Webhook

Enter the receiving service’s URL, choose any required headers, and select the saved endpoint in your job. Querygen sends a JSON request when the job matches. Confirm that the receiving service accepts POST requests and that its authentication details are current.

Tip: Use the built-in Google Sheets or Supabase actions when you only need a new row or record. Use a webhook when another service needs to receive the result.

Body Templates

Add a custom JSON body when the receiving service expects a particular field layout. Insert a placeholder such as {{message.text}} where a job or conversation value should appear. Querygen escapes inserted values so the request remains valid JSON.

Template Variables

VariableValue
{{message.text}}The message content that triggered the job
{{message.sender}}Sender name
{{message.chat}}Conversation or group name
{{message.timestamp}}Message date and time
{{message.link}}Link to the message in Querygen
{{conversation.link}}Link to the conversation in Inbox
{{conversation.labels}}Current conversation labels
{{flow.name}}Job name
{{alert.reason}}Why the condition matched, when available
{{extracted.<field>}}A field captured by the job

Examples

Failed Requests

Failed requests appear in the job execution log with the HTTP status returned by the receiving service. Querygen does not retry failed webhook requests automatically; open the log to understand the failure and retry the entry when appropriate.
