Que
Que lets you ask questions about the conversations you can access using plain language. Answers include links back to the messages or summaries they are based on, so you can check the original context.
How It Works
Type a question in the input field at the bottom of the screen and press Enter. The AI searches your organization’s messages and summaries, finds the most relevant passages, and produces a response with numbered citations like [1], [2]. Each citation is a clickable link that takes you directly to the source message or summary in the Inbox, including the exact date and message.
A progress indicator shows when the answer is being prepared, and the response appears as it becomes available.
Filters
Click the filter button in the top-right corner to open a filter panel. You can narrow your queries by:
- Date range — restrict the AI to messages from a specific period.
- Conversations — select specific DMs or groups to search within.
- Contacts — limit to messages from specific senders, sorted by message count.
A badge on the filter button shows how many filters are active. Filters persist across messages within the same chat session.
Chat Sessions
Your AI conversations are saved in the left sidebar, grouped by date (Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 Days, and so on). Click “New Chat” to start a fresh session, or click any previous session to continue where you left off. Hover over a session to reveal a delete button if you want to remove it.
Voice Input
A microphone button next to the text input lets you speak your question using your browser’s speech-to-text capability. Click it, speak, and the transcribed text appears in the input field ready to send. Allow microphone access when your browser asks. If voice input is unavailable, use Chrome or Edge.
